Meridian Report is an independent, AI-powered news analysis platform that reads hundreds of articles every hour from across the full political spectrum — left, center, and right — and presents each top story with all sides of the coverage shown simultaneously. No anchors. No agenda. Just the facts, ranked by how many independent sources are reporting them.
Unlike traditional news aggregators, Meridian Report does not simply republish headlines. Our AI analyzes each story cluster and produces an original synthesis: a factual summary, a count of how many global outlets are covering the event, and a clear presentation of how left-leaning and right-leaning sources are framing the same facts differently. This analysis is generated fresh every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day.
Every 30 minutes, our system fetches the latest articles from 128 news sources across eight global regions. Our AI — built on Anthropic's Claude — reads every headline, identifies which articles cover the same underlying event, and clusters them together. Stories are ranked purely by source breadth: the more independent outlets covering an event, the higher it rises. No editorial team. No political filter. Just cross-source frequency.
Meridian Report draws from a curated list of 128 established news outlets across eight global regions, deliberately balanced across the political spectrum.
Meridian Report was built by Nate Fisher, a Chief Information Officer with two master's degrees and nearly 15 years of service under US CYBERCOM in the Department of Defense. A lifelong news follower who grew up watching CNN Headline News — back when it was just the news — Nate built Meridian Report over a weekend because he wanted something that had never existed before: a fully automated outlet that presents every major story exactly as it is being told by every side, with zero editorial interference.
"I have voted for both parties in my adult life and have been tuned into geopolitics for 40 years. I feel everyone should have a cursory understanding of what is going on in the world — stripped down to what it is. A summary of facts. I figured you might want in on that." — Nate Fisher, Founder
Meridian Report publishes original editorial commentary on media bias, the information landscape, and the state of modern journalism in The Meridian Perspective — our editorial blog. These posts are written by the founder and reflect original analysis not available anywhere else. Read The Meridian Perspective →
